Reflexology is a form of bodywork that focuses primarily on the feet. The idea behind reflexology is that there are “reflex” areas on the feet and hands that correspond to specific organs, glands, and other parts of the body.

Eliminate tension and increase healing

When people think of reflexology, they often simply think of foot massage. However, reflexology is a discipline that caters to healing the entire body. When we are stressed in different mental and physical ways, our bodies will store this stress in our muscles. These original points of tension change the way we carry ourselves as we compensate for the initial loss of mobility and avoid pain. This then puts more stress and tension on the muscles we use to compensate; which in turn continues as time goes on to create a chain reaction of stress and tension throughout the body, causing all sorts of negative symptoms along the way. Depending on each original tension's source, side effects can include musculoskeletal pain, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, allergies, mental fog, insomnia, anxiety, nerve disorders and numbness, depression, and more. Reflexology is a method of resetting these stressed muscle tissues throughout the body and releasing their tensions by using pinpoints found on key reflex zones- most commonly on the feet; but also on hands, face, head, and elsewhere. Those who come to us for healing often find themselves shocked by how interconnected the body really is, and come out of their reflexology sessions with significantly reduced stress, released tension, decreased pain, and symptom alleviation. If you’re looking to improve your mobility, body function, strength, and quality of life; our reflexology clinic may be the healing path for you.
